ABAP Tip check authority error - ST01

There is another way to verify  how to check authority error. If you use T-C0DE:ST01 (System Trace), you can trace the user's authority log including errors.

After executing T-CODE:ST01, pick 'Authorization Check' and push ' General Filters' button in below.

Enter user you will trace,

IF you are back to ST01 screen, activate tracing logs by pushing 'activate icon'.

enter the t-code you don't have an authority, and error message will be displayed.

 

Push 'Trace off button' to terminate tracing. In this time, push 'Analysis' button, the screen which displays log will come up. If you want to check only error log, just check 'error only'.  

 

If you double click the line, you can see the detailed error information.
